The Walburg/Pace Bend weekend is the formal opening of the season and subsequently it is a must do. Not because it's great - typically Walburg will be wet, windy, and cold - but once it's over all other races will feel better. You may feel it already at PB where it's gonna be warm while you freewheel at 30 mph just sitting in wondering if you should attack (don't). Regardless, this weekend isn't important results wise (yes, you should race to win) but it is where you put your cards on the table and start to race in earnest.

I am in for walburg and pacebend cat 4/5 35+.

Looks like there are several 5's signed up, some 4/5 35+ and some Women 4s....looks like it will be another strong showing by the WCC! I know it's 2 weeks out but looking forward to it already!

i guess i am going to sign up for the 4/5 race so i have someone to ride with. haha jk!

Looks like it will be a very strong showing in the Men's Cat 5!
